Exploring Connections
Jackie has been involved in environmental issues for over 40 years. He has been an activist, speaker, author, and writier for many causes. During his teaching and subsequent doctoral work, Jackie realized that the lack of appreciation for every human's deep connections to the natural world, the cycles of life, and the rhythms of nature could be the root case for all our ailments. Cultures that appreciate these connections just don't seem to have all the troubles we do in the West.
For 7 years, Jackie wrote over 350 articles for the Environment News Service on a wide range of environmental and social issues.
Some of them were written over a decade ago, but sadly, the environmental problems and social challenges continue and they are all still timely.
